Our review process is outlined in detail in the Application Process & Cost Breakdown document posted in the Reference Materials section of this website.  At a high level, approving applications is a two-step process typically conducted within 5 business days.

Step 1 - Credit & Criminal Background Check
Once completed appplications are received, a credit and criminal background check is performed.  The results of the requests are typically available within 3 business days of being submitted.  In addition, we often contact current employers to verify employment and previous landlords to verify rental history.  We do our best to get this information within a couple of business days, but it sometimes takes longer if we end up playing "'phone tag" with the contacts you've given us.

Step 2 -- Decision of Landlord
We believe it is important to make timely decisions and are committed to letting you know your status within 5 business days of receiving your applicaton.  At the same time, we often recieve multiple applications and need to weigh the merits of each application which sometimes takes slightly longer.
